As some of you will know from those of you that follow me on Instagram and Twitter you’ll know that I had a little holiday back home in the UK. Whilst I was there I had to take a trip to Superdrug! There was a couple of bits that I wanted to get because we don’t have the same range of beauty products here in Australia. Barry M is one of them and it’s definitely one of my faves!
Barry M Haul
Here are a few little products which I picked up from Barry M all under £10.00 – total bargain!
Barry M Colour Correcting Wand – Brightens Skin – £4.49 – http://tidd.ly/baff1fe6
My skin naturally is very pale and can sometimes look very tired and dry. I picked up the Barry M colour correcting wand, which is a snazzy purple colour and look’s a bit crazy but I can safely say it works total wonders. The purple concealer brightens up your skin tone and creates a great layer underneath foundation. It also smells pretty nice too.
Barry M Cosmic Lights Multi – £7.99 – http://tidd.ly/adc17ee2
This is without a doubt the best purchase I’ve ever bought. That’s a bold statement I know. I mean it. I really wanted to get a nice highlighter that will shine, a few of the highlighters I’ve got from contour kits just look super white and don’t really work all that well with my skin tone. The Barry M Cosmic lights highlighter palette has got an incredible light white/blue/purple colour which I use every single day. I’ve had a few friends ask where it’s from it’s very noticeable, but in a subtle way. You can also check out some of my selfies on my Instagram pretty sure you can see the highlighter!
Barry M Gelly Nail Polish Pink Lemonade 10ml – £3.99 – http://tidd.ly/7d5edd6
When it comes to nails, I’m not a long nail type of person. So I don’t often buy nail varnishes. In fact, I buy them, use them once and they live in my cupboard for about 2 years. The Barry M Gelly Nail varnish is a great everyday nail varnish that you want to leave on for a while. Perfect for us that don’t spend hours on our nails.
Barry M Showgirl Extra Volumising Mascara – £4.99 – http://tidd.ly/a4b0c0d
If I’m being honest, I was actually disappointed with the Barry M Showgirl mascara. I like quite thick mascaras that provide both volume and length to my lashes. I don’t feel this mascara did that at all. It was very dry and just made my eyelashes very dark. Out of the Barry M products I bought, I’m not I would buy this product again.
Barry M Setting Spray Dewy Mist & Fix Finish – £4.99 http://tidd.ly/541fd98
So setting sprays are all the range with beauty bloggers and YouTubers so I thought I would get one and check it out. I bought a dewy setting spray as I mentioned, my skin is often very dry and with cold weather I end up losing most of my foundation on my face at the end of the day. This setting spray is brilliant, perfect for that after make up look and also moisturising your skin throughout the day.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my review of my Barry M Supedrug haul.
